Julia Roberts shared an unusual personal Instagram post this weekend to celebrate her 17th birthday. Although she and Danny Moder shared the occasion on social networks, Roberts’ was more recent. The photo showed the babies with their heads hidden under their chins.
“17 of the Sweetest years of life,”Roberts captioned her photo with 17 cake emojis, and some other celebratory icons. The post has been liked over half a million times as of this writing. Emma Roberts, Roberts’ niece, posted three heart-emojis.
Roberts’ post follows Moder’s 52-year-old film-maker who is less frank about posting photos of his kids online. He shared a candid photo of his twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus at the kitchen table. They were apparently enjoying a meal but are still smiling at their father.
“These rabble rousers,”He wrote. “Seventeen today. Thank you for helping me through fatherhood.”Moder’s post was liked by over 5,000 people, and received many more comments that Roberts’.
“It goes so quick doesn’t it? My son also just turned 17! Happy birthday from the U.K.,”One fan wrote. Another fan added: “Not possible! Please tell me it isn’t so! How did time spin a tale that fast?! Happy birthday Finn and Hazel! Love to you both!”
Roberts and Moder first met while filming The Mexican together in 2000. However, at that time they were both in romantic relationships. They first began dating while they were single, and they got married in July 2002. Their twins were conceived in November 2004, and Henry, their third child was born in June 2007.
