After Wilmers suffered a near-fatal accident on their Valentine’s Day trip, Wilmers was hospitalized for several months before he finally got engaged. He spent a few days in the hospital before being released. Goss thanked all her supporters for their support. It has been so important and a great distraction for me while I was in the hospital. The show centers on the friendship between Marine veteran Riley and Awalmir “Al” Karimi, also known as Adhir Kalyan, was an Afghan interpreter who served Riley in Afghanistan.
